Being an oncologist , I have been unfortunate to witness many deaths in my career. Many don’t understand the emotional trauma of the doctor when a patient under his care expires. Ironically, on the other side, on seeing the extreme suffering of some patients, I have prayed for an early death, at least on a few occasions.
